Three Perfect Days: Halfway

Category: Nationals Front Page Item

At the halfway point through the championship we have now had three perfect days of top class Laser racing. The Fremantle seabreeze has not disappointed although the forecast 20-30 knots for todays racing ended up being a lot softer.

The top of the 4.7 fleet is very close between Nicolas PORÉE (FRA) and Megan DARBY (NSW). Stephen COLLINGS (VIC) is third.

In the Radials, Richard BOTT (NSW), Gabrielle KING (NSW) and Klade HAUSCHILDT (QLD) are close together with Tristan BROWN (WA) only 1 point adrift.

Ashley BRUNNING (NSW) has led the Laser fleet from the first race with Matias DEL SOLAR (CHI) and Fredrik WESTMAN (FIN) still in touch.

The next few days are forecast to have stronger seabreezes with and change due for the final day (Monday).
